Lockport Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges After Ongoing Investigation

Travis Watts, a 40-year-old Gasport resident, was apprehended by the Niagara County Drug Task Force on September 25, 2024, at around 3:05 AM. This arrest came after an extensive investigation into his purported involvement in drug-related activities.

Watts is confronting a range of severe felony charges, which encompass Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Substance with Intent to Sell in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, and Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell in the third degree. Furthermore, he was arrested based on a distinct warrant issued by Lockport City Court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree.

Currently, Watts is in custody at the Niagara County Jail, awaiting arraignment. Like everyone accused of a crime, he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
