After hitting the truck, the car then struck a construction worker who was sitting in the grass nearby.

The sedan continued on and collided with another parked truck, causing a second construction worker to fall onto the floorboard of the trailer before the vehicle came to a stop.

Police reported that the driver of the car was uninjured. However, both workers injured in the crash received treatment for neck and back pain.

Officials are continuing their investigation into the incident.
