A man from Michigan, who is currently serving a life sentence in Alabama for a murder conviction, has now been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of another man in Wisconsin.
In 2022, Anderson attacked a young woman who was jogging in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The assault took place while she was out for a run. Afterward, Anderson traveled to Wisconsin and entered the apartment of Ernst, a 65-year-old individual who unfortunately lost their life during the incident. Following this tragic event, Anderson proceeded to steal Ernst’s car and drove to Alabama. It was in Alabama that he committed another crime, resulting in the death of Dwight Dixon.
According to court documents, Anderson discovered Ernst on a smartphone app commonly used by men to connect with other men for sexual encounters.
Anderson, a resident of Caspian, Michigan, faced allegations of capturing selfie videos and photos with Ernst’s body. In addition, Anderson wrote a Bible verse on the wall and left a handwritten apology.
According to WLUK-TV, Anderson was found guilty of capital murder in Alabama in January for Dixon’s death.
