ESL employee facing allegations of embezzling $60K

An employee of ESL Federal Credit Union in Ontario County has been accused of stealing over $60,000 from several bank accounts.

Deputies from the Ontario County Sheriff’s office have charged Aixa Resendiz, a 21-year-old resident of Clifton Springs, with grand larceny. The charges stem from her alleged withdrawal of money from multiple customers’ accounts at the Hopewell branch between March and August.

All customers who suffered losses as a result of the theft have received full reimbursement from ESL.
