When first responders arrived at the home in the Town of Pavilion, they found three family members on the roof and another family member on the first floor.

Four individuals managed to safely escape a 2-alarm fire that occurred in Genesee County during the early hours of Thursday morning in Pavilion, New York.

When emergency personnel arrived at the residence on Ellicott Street Road in the Town of Pavilion, they found three family members on the roof and another family member on the first floor.

All four individuals were successfully rescued by firefighters, with one individual requiring additional medical evaluation at the hospital.

“We found it quickly as it wasn’t too far from the front door in the main area, close to the stairwell. Once we located it, we swiftly brought it under control. Our next step was to use fans to clear the smoke and ensure everyone’s safety,” explained Chief Bryen Murrock of the Pavilion Fire Department.
