Grandmother in New York Starts Fire at Grandchild's Residence in Dutchess County

District Attorney Anthony Parisi described this case as a chilling illustration of how a domestic incident or dispute can quickly spiral out of control. He emphasized that the defendant’s decision to resort to arson in order to harm the victim not only breaks the law but also demonstrates a reckless and blatant disregard for public safety.

According to a press release from the Dutchess County DA’s office, the defendant is responsible for damaging the main entrance door, main entrance porch, and some vegetation at the location.
