Desire Williams, the daughter of Worthy, was a victim of sexual assault by a fellow student in 2022. The incident was further aggravated by the fact that the assault was recorded and shared. Worthy emphasizes that Desire has always been an industrious and ambitious individual, even from a young age when she used to run a lemonade stand. She has successfully managed multiple businesses and is known for her loving, caring, and genuine nature. Worthy describes her daughter as an angel on Earth.
According to another parent, the student who assaulted Williams also targeted other girls, referring to the perpetrator as a monster.
Jammell Brooks Jones believes that the issue lies in the fact that when individuals assert themselves, it tends to be met with resistance.
