The incident is currently under investigation by the University Police, who have also implemented targeted patrols for the rest of the weekend.

No one was injured when shots were fired overnight at the Buffalo State University campus.

According to a news release from Buffalo State, the incident occurred at 1:56 a.m. on Saturday.

According to the school, two individuals pursued and fired shots at two other individuals in Lot R-15, near Rees Street.

The two individuals who were being pursued managed to escape the campus, while the two suspects quickly departed the area in a vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Buffalo State reported that no one involved has volunteered to speak with the police. The suspects have been described as two black males, both wearing black pants and black hoodies.

University Police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident, and they have implemented targeted patrols for the remainder of the weekend.
