Police seeking information in deadly Mother’s Day shooting in Montgomery

Montgomery Police are seeking the public’s help in investigating a fatal Mother’s Day shooting.

Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 1100 block of Oak Street shortly after 1 a.m. on May 12. Upon arrival, they found Jeffery Williams, 34, of Montgomery, with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital but passed away from his injuries on May 18.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
