Suspect in Dunkirk Stabbing Arrested, Awaits Court Appearance

Dunkirk Police have successfully captured a suspect involved in an assault that took place at the City Marina in Dunkirk, N.Y. The incident resulted in a victim being stabbed, although fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, around 6:40 AM, Dunkirk Police received a report regarding a potential assault occurring near the City Marina on Central Avenue. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim who had been injured in what seemed to be a stabbing incident. The victim was quickly taken to Erie County Medical Center for medical attention. Fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening, and they were discharged later on.

Korzenski is currently in custody awaiting arraignment at Dunkirk City Court. The authorities are still investigating the events that led to the stabbing.

The motive behind the attack has not been disclosed by authorities, and there are no other suspects believed to be involved.
