Woman sought in assault on 63-year-old woman turns herself in

Philadelphia police say the woman accused of a brutal attack on a 63-year-old woman in Center City has turned herself in.

According to authorities, the woman approached the victim as she waited for the bus at 11th and Market streets last Wednesday morning and began yelling.

She then faces accusations of hitting the woman in the face and knocking her to the ground.

According to a police source with knowledge of the matter, charges include assault.

Her identity is still unknown.
