A Franklin County man was arrested on charges of attempting to provide drug-free urine to Franklin County Adult Probation, according to authorities. James Joseph Townsley, 22, was arrested on March 19, 2025, after reportedly attempting to submit a drug-free urine sample to avoid testing positive for drugs.
Townsley, described as a white male, roughly 6′ 0″ tall, weighing 150 lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes, was charged with one misdemeanor count of providing drug-free urine. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Until proven guilty in a court of law, we assume he is innocent.
