A High-speed Pursuit Through Oklahoma City Ends With The Arrest Of Two Suspects

A high-speed chase through Oklahoma City resulted in the arrest of two people early Friday morning. According to a police report, the incident began about 4:20 a.m. when an officer received a complaint of a white SUV with Oklahoma license plate QLX707 driving westbound on SE 44th Street near I-35.

The officer made a U-turn to chase the SUV. The officer started a traffic stop, and the driver accelerated from a complete stop, resulting in a pursuit.

During the chase, the SUV reportedly ran a stop sign at SE 44th and S Shields Blvd., reaching speeds of 88 mph. The motorist attempted to flee by turning off his vehicle’s lights and driving through a red light at SE 25th and S Shields Blvd. The pursuit continued as the SUV drove through oncoming traffic on W Oklahoma City Blvd.

The chase stopped near SW 3rd Street and S Walker Avenue. Officers discovered the abandoned vehicle near SW 4th and South Western.

The two passengers were seen attempting to climb a fence and enter a field.

The passenger, Ar Leaamber Sanchez, was apprehended before leaping the barrier and charged with improper use of a motor vehicle.

The driver, Ar Christopher Wade-Beaudion, was discovered hiding in a field. He was cited for many traffic violations and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Wade-Beaudion was previously convicted of endangering others while escaping a police officer, according to authorities.
