Fatal crash claims life of WNY doctor in Wyoming County

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision that resulted in the death of a physician from Chautauqua County.

A report of a mishap involving multiple vehicles at Wethersfield and Hermitage roads was received by deputies at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

A Subaru and a tow vehicle were discovered off the roadway to the northwest of the intersection.

The driver of the Subaru, Dr. Richard Milazzo, 80, of Silver Creek, was declared deceased at the site.The southbound tow truck, which had the right of way, struck his westbound vehicle after it failed to stop at a stop sign, as determined by the investigators.
