Man arrested by Fultondale PD in drug bust, charged with trafficking fentanyl

FULTONDALE, Alabama — A man was arrested in a drug bust by the Fultondale Police Department.

On Friday morning, Fultondale PD, along with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence on Heaton Street in Fultondale.

Antonio Jermaine Harrell, 31, was taken into custody on charges of allegedly trafficking fentanyl and being a person forbidden to possess a firearm.

Harrell tried to escape when authorities arrived, but officers apprehended him.

He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail with a bond set at $515,000.
