On Monday, police released surveillance footage of a man wanted in connection with the attempted rape of a 70-year-old woman last week in the Bronx.
The incident occurred about 1 p.m. on Friday, April 18, near Creston Avenue and East 184th Street in Fordham Heights, according to authorities.
According to officials, an unidentified male approached the girl from behind and attempted to rape her before fleeing on foot to unknown locations.
The suspect is described as a man with long gray hair who was last seen wearing a white shirt.
