After pleading guilty to murder, one of the defendants in the death of a Montgomery adolescent in 2020 will be sentenced to life imprisonment.
According to Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey, Keontae Davidson was sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in the heinous murder of 17-year-old Lesley Luna Pantaleon.
On July 4, 2020, Pantaleon’s body was discovered in Catoma Creek, which is situated off of Old Selma Road. On June 24, that year, her parents reported her missing.
Bailey claimed that Davidson and two other co-defendants repeatedly beat and injured Pantaleon before throwing her alive into the creek. Upon its discovery, the victim’s body was severely decomposed.
Circuit Judge Brooke Reid sentenced Erin Taylor, one of the other co-defendants, to 50 years in prison in August. Taylor entered a plea of guilty to homicide in April.
