Amanda T. Sterzick, aged 52 and residing in Batavia, has been charged with multiple offenses including criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd, a Class A-II felony, as well as two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, conspiracy 2nd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd. Similarly, Michael C. Mirabal, aged 51 and also living in Batavia, faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd, a Class A-II felony, along with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, conspiracy 2nd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd.

Paul Crawford, aged 55 and residing in Batavia, has been arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses. These charges include criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, which is classified as a Class A-II felony, as well as two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and conspiracy in the second degree.

The arrest followed the execution of search warrants on two residences located on Central Avenue and East Main Street in Batavia. These warrants were obtained as a result of an extensive investigation into the trafficking and distribution of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, and the possession of U.S. currency. The investigation received support from the United States Postal Service Investigation Service.

The suspects were officially charged on September 11th and, due to the seriousness of the A-II felony charges, they were ordered to be held at the Genesee County Jail until further court appearances. It is important to note that the investigation is still ongoing, and there is a possibility of additional charges being filed in the future.

Charles Philips Stevens, aged 36, and Shelby Lynn Fryer, aged 29, both residing at 11 South Main Street, Batavia, have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Similarly, Carl E. Canterbury, aged 54, and Christine M. Caplis, aged 44, both residing at 61 South Main Street, Batavia, along with Crystal A. Dale, aged 48, from Linwood Avenue, Albion, are also facing charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

These arrests came as a result of a narcotics investigation conducted by the Local Drug Task Force. The investigation led to the execution of search warrants by the Batavia Emergency Response Team on September 9, at both 11 South Main Street and 61 South Main Street in Batavia. All suspects involved were subsequently issued appearance tickets.

Susan Marie Lynch, 69, residing on North Pearl Street in Oakfield, has been charged with petit larceny. The incident occurred on September 9 at Walmart, where Lynch is accused of shoplifting. At 4:49 p.m. that day, she was apprehended. Following her arrest, Lynch was taken to the Genesee County Jail for processing and subsequently released.

Jacob Duane Pieri, an 18-year-old resident of East Pleasant Avenue in Eden, has been charged with DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) and driving with a BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) of .08 or greater. On September 7th, at 11:21, Pieri was pulled over on Alleghany Road in Darien by Deputy Soren Calderon. As a result, Pieri was given an appearance ticket.

A 34-year-old man named Ashton Lee Mohney, residing on Oak Street in Batavia, has been charged with petit larceny. According to reports, Mohney was involved in a shoplifting incident at Walmart on September 6th at 10:19 a.m. Following the incident, Mohney was taken into custody and processed at the Genesee County Jail before being released.

Molly Elizabeth Hebdon, 35, residing on Unreleased Street in Bethany, is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child. The accusation against Hebdon is that she left her 11-year-old daughter unattended at a residence on Putnam Road in Bethany at 10:33 p.m. on September 8. Hebdon has been issued an appearance ticket in relation to this incident.

Mario Richard Handley, a 19-year-old resident of Jackson Avenue in North Tonawanda, has been charged with disorderly conduct. Handley stands accused of harassing patrons at a location on Alleghany Road around 12:30 a.m. on September 7th. According to reports, he was seen engaging in fighting stances and striking passing vehicles. Handley was subsequently released on an appearance ticket.

A 30-year-old man named Jose Ranulfo Yamba-Paucar from Hinkleyville Road in Spencerport has been charged with DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) and driving with a BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) of .08 or higher. Yamba-Paucar was pulled over on Batavia Stafford Townline Road in Batavia at 6:19 p.m. on September 14th, after receiving multiple traffic complaints. He was subsequently released on an appearance ticket.

Jared Ryan Burns, a 38-year-old resident of Main Road in Stafford, is facing charges of criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Burns stands accused of deliberately damaging the screen door of a residence located on West Main Street Road in Batavia at 9:43 p.m. on September 12. Following the incident, he was held in custody pending arraignment.

Samantha Grace Reed, a resident of Central Avenue in Batavia, has been charged with petit larceny. Reed allegedly engaged in shoplifting at Walmart on September 13th at 6:47 PM. Following her arrest, she was released on an appearance ticket.

At the Pitbull concert held at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on September 6, several arrests were made.

    • Gena Everet, 18, of Java, is charged with criminal trespass after allegedly reentering the concert venue after previously being ejected.
    • Michael Pellegrino-Whittmeyer, 21, of Batavia, is charged with criminal trespass after allegedly reentering the concert venue after previously being ejected.
    • Erin Coffey, 20, of Rochester, is charged with criminal trespass after allegedly reentering the concert venue after previously being ejected.
    • John Karcz, Jr., 51, of North Tonawanda, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly striking another person while inside the concert venue.

All the suspects were given appearance tickets.
