Batavia man arrested for brandishing box cutter, engaging in altercation with police

A 47-year-old man from Batavia, named Michael J. Stack, is facing multiple charges including attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment. Stack allegedly assaulted and threatened another individual with a box cutter. When law enforcement officials tried to apprehend him on September 3, Stack reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with the officers and attempted to seize one of their firearms from its holster. Following his arraignment in City Court, Stack was remanded without bail.

A 19-year-old Genesee Community College student, Anthony Earl Parks, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd and criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds. Parks was arrested for allegedly having an unregistered loaded pistol with a high-capacity magazine at College Village around 11:50 p.m. on September 22. The college’s campus security became aware of Parks’ potential possession of a weapon through a social media post. However, there is no evidence suggesting that Parks made any threats related to the handgun. Following his arraignment, Parks was taken into custody with bail set at $25,000 or $5,000 bond. Deputy Rachael Diehl and Investigator Erik Andre led the investigation, with assistance from the campus security team.

Patrick O. Spikes, a 43-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and menacing in the second degree. According to reports, Spikes allegedly brandished a knife and threatened another individual during a physical altercation that took place on September 17 at an undisclosed venue. Following his arrest, Spikes was arraigned in City Court and is currently being held without bail.

Nicholas C. Kingdollar, a 28-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with burglary in the second degree, criminal contempt in the second degree, and aggravated family offense. On September 6, Kingdollar was discovered inside a residence, the exact location of which has not been disclosed, in direct violation of a stay-away order of protection. Following his arraignment in City Court, he has been remanded with bail set at $5,000, a bond of $10,000, or a partially secured bond of $20,000.

Penny S. According to reports from the Batavia PD, the Neighborhood Enforcement Team observed a suspect engaging in a drug transaction on Bank Street. Hofert has since been arraigned and released.

Kyle J. Leenhouts, a 36-year-old resident of Rochester, has been charged with DWI. On August 24, Batavia patrol officers received a call about a disturbance in the drive-thru of McDonald’s on East Main Street. Following an investigation, Leenhouts was arrested and subsequently issued an appearance ticket.

Keith M. Lewandowski, age 33, from Batavia, has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. On August 26, he was taken into custody on a warrant related to an incident that occurred on December 3. The police stopped Lewandowski while he was riding his bicycle for an alleged traffic violation, and during the course of their investigation, they discovered narcotics in his possession. Following his arraignment, he was released.

Mason D. Dumbleton, a 33-year-old resident of Alexander, has been charged with DWI. On August 23, Dumbleton was pulled over on Ellicott Street in Batavia by a Batavia patrol officer. Following the incident, he was given an appearance ticket.

Lindsay Q. Brooks, a 38-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Brooks allegedly caused damage to a door at a residence on Ellicott Place in Batavia during a physical altercation. Following the incident, she was given an appearance ticket to appear in court.

Dominic D. Czerniak, a 25-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with harassment in the second degree. On August 12th, Czerniak was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a physical altercation on West Main Street, Batavia, where he reportedly kicked another individual. Following his arrest, Czerniak was issued an appearance ticket.

Suzanne C. Stein, a 62-year-old resident of Byron, was taken into custody on August 24th based on a warrant. Initially, Stein was given a traffic ticket for a misdemeanor traffic violation. However, she failed to appear in court, which led to the issuance of the warrant. Stein was arraigned and subsequently released.

Michael C. Smith, a 32-year-old resident of Batavia, was taken into custody on Aug. 19 due to four outstanding warrants. These warrants were issued in connection with various incidents involving charges of petit larceny and trespass. Smith appeared before the Batavia City Court for arraignment and was subsequently sent to the Genesee County Jail.

Joseph M. Call, a 24-year-old resident of Batavia, voluntarily surrendered to authorities on August 28. Call had been issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket on June 10 but failed to appear in court, resulting in the issuance of a warrant. Following his arraignment, Call was released.

Brandon A. Honore, a 39-year-old resident of Batavia, was taken into custody on August 29th based on an outstanding warrant. Honore is accused of missing a court appearance in relation to a minor traffic violation. Following his arraignment in City Court, he was subsequently released.

A 64-year-old man from Batavia, named Bill A. Thomas, has been charged with having an open alcohol container in public. On August 31, Thomas was allegedly discovered with an open container of alcohol in Austin Park. As a result, he was given an appearance ticket.

Jeremy C. Goodell, a 50-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with possessing an open alcohol container in public. Goodell allegedly had an open container in Austin Park on August 31. Following the incident, he was given an appearance ticket.

Jamie A. Dutton, aged 32, from Batavia, was apprehended on August 30th on various charges, including petit larceny. The warrant accuses Dutton of stealing merchandise from Aldi on June 20th. Additionally, he faces charges of criminal impersonation 2nd for allegedly providing a false name to avoid arrest, as well as resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration 2nd for allegedly fleeing from pursuing police officers. Following his arraignment in City Court, he was transferred to the Genesee County Jail on a parole warrant.

Francis A. Coombs, a 57-year-old resident of Batavia, has been charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Coombs stands accused of kicking a hole in the wall of a residence located on State Street on August 25th. Following the incident, he was promptly issued an appearance ticket.

Deandre C. Lee, aged 30, from Rochester, and Myrin D. Lumpkin, aged 46, from Batavia, have both been charged with disorderly conduct. They allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with each other on August 25th at the intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Avenue. Additionally, Lee faces an additional charge of criminal contempt 2nd for violating an order of protection related to an individual who was in the same vehicle as Lee and Lumpkin. Lee was arraigned in City Court, while Lumpkin was issued an appearance ticket.

Young stands accused of residing in the wooded area of a private property located on South Jackson Street in Batavia. Lamar I. Randall, a 39-year-old resident of Batavia, was apprehended on August 8th due to an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that Randall neglected to attend a court hearing for a traffic citation. Following his arraignment, he was subsequently released.

It is alleged that Preedom, who is already a registered sex offender, failed to report a change of address within the required 10-day period. According to reports, Dunmore allegedly placed his hands around another individual’s neck during a fight that took place on State Street on September 7, 2023. This incident follows her previous arrest on September 16, where she was accused of driving under the influence of narcotics. Kocent was arraigned in City Court and subsequently released on her own recognizance.

Timothy J. Niccloy, a 39-year-old resident of Batavia, was apprehended on September 15th following an arrest warrant. The incident stems from a misdemeanor traffic ticket he received on June 4th, where he reportedly neglected to appear in court. Niccloy was subsequently arraigned and later released.

Tiaan Geldenhuys, a 26-year-old resident of Watson Road, Elba, faces charges of assault in the third degree. Geldenhuys allegedly assaulted a co-worker at a venue on Transit Road in Byron at 2:45 p.m. on September 17th, resulting in physical harm.

A 35-year-old man named Casey Thomas Vaughn from Prestige Xing, Batavia, is facing charges of criminal contempt in the second degree. It is alleged that Vaughn violated an order of protection on September 19 at 10:09 p.m. He was held in custody until his arraignment.

Nathaniel Austin Moultrup, a 24-year-old resident of West Main Street in Batavia, has been charged with multiple offenses including driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .08 or greater, driving left of the pavement, moving from lane unsafely, and consuming alcohol or cannabis in a motor vehicle. On September 21, at 1:55 a.m., Deputy Jacob Kipler pulled over Moultrup on West Main Street Road in Batavia.

Dean Michael Boldt, a 57-year-old resident of Wende Road in Alden, is facing multiple charges including DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 of alcohol, and motor vehicle lights not meeting standards. Deputy Jacob Kipler stopped Boldt at 1:28 a.m. on September 22 on West Main Street Road in Batavia.
