Three companies in Alabama have been found to be in violation of regulations. The Blue Bell Ice Cream plant in Sylacauga, DPC Enterprises in Mobile, and Koch Foods of Gadsden are among the companies that have been flagged for non-compliance.

Fines were imposed on several companies in the Southeast region, including a Kroger distribution center located in Memphis and a Kroger-operated dairy facility in Murfreesboro. Furthermore, a Koch Foods plant in Mississippi was cited for violations related to the ammonia refrigeration process used for cold food storage.
