In the August 12 attack that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Rukia Isaack, Quentin Riviere and Nasezire Horton, both 21 years old, are facing charges. The police suspect that a stray gunshot struck Isaack and that the two other teenagers who were injured were the intended targets.

Police arrested Riviere and Horton later that week at a residence on Edmonds Street that was being utilized as a gatehouse for the sale of marijuana and cocaine. Additionally, they are both being charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to investigators, Horton was released on parole for assault in March, and Riviere is on parole for burglary. Both individuals have prior convictions for weapons possession.
