Two weeks after Artem Chigvintsev, a former “Dancing with the Stars” dancer, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, his wife of two years, Nikki Bella, has filed for divorce.

Bella submitted the petition on Wednesday, as indicated by Napa County Superior Court records accessible online.

The couple, who have been married since 2022, shares a four-year-old son.

CNN has reached out to representatives for Bella and Chigvintsev for comment.

Last month, Henry Wofford, public information officer for the Napa County Sheriff’s Department, informed CNN that Chigvintsev was arrested around 10 a.m. PDT in Yountville on August 29, on suspicion of felony domestic violence.

Wofford stated that the investigation is ongoing. No additional details about the incident or the victim(s) have been released.

Chigvintsev is recognized for his work as a professional dancer and choreographer on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” where he has competed for at least ten seasons. He and Bella first met while partnered on Season 25 of the show.

Reports, previously reported that Chigvintsev will not appear in the upcoming Season 33 of “DWTS.”
