Police Say New York State Man Busted For DWI While On Lawnmower
According to a press release by the New York State Police, troopers were dispatched to a call in Elizabethtown on September 12. The call reported an individual riding a red lawnmower on the wrong side of the road, angrily yelling at bystanders.
According to State Police, the man made an attempt to leave the area while they were engaged in a conversation with him.
The suspect initially disregarded commands, but troopers were successful in getting him to comply. According to troopers, the suspect did not pass standardized field sobriety tests, leading to his arrest.
