ALEA Troopers stepping up patrols at schools to enhance community safety

After the tragic events in Georgia and the multiple false reports that several school systems in the state received last week, this statewide initiative has been implemented.

In order to prevent violence and provide reassurance to parents and students about the safety and security of their communities, ALEA troopers have taken proactive measures. They will be patrolling and driving in the vicinity of schools, ensuring an extra layer of precaution.

Parents are urged not to be alarmed by the presence of more law enforcement officers. This does not indicate any threat to the safety of schools or students.

You will mostly spot troopers during high traffic volumes, such as arrivals and dismissals.

According to ALEA trooper Vu Quang, this initiative aims to provide support to local communities and law enforcement agencies.

Parents and students are urged by ALEA troopers to remain vigilant on social media platforms for any possible threats or suspicious behavior. It is important to report any concerning activity immediately if noticed.
