Alabama Teacher Has Been Arrested For Allegedly Forging Her Husband’s Signature On Tax Documents

A Mobile County teacher was arrested on September 27 for allegedly faking her husband’s signature on tax paperwork, according to court records.

The authorities issued arrest warrants for Rachel Marie Mudrich and charged her with identity theft and two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument.

WKRG News 5 reports that Mudrich, a math teacher at Semmes Middle School, is on administrative leave.

A spokesman from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office stated that Mudrich’s husband discovered his counterfeit signature on tax paperwork when the pair was going through divorce proceedings.
