Two individuals from Rochester charged in triple shooting at Hazelwood Terrace resulting in death of 19-year-old

Two convicted felons have been indicted on charges of attempted murder and murder in connection with the triple shooting that occurred on Hazelwood Terrace last month.

In the August 12 attack that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Rukia Isaack, Quentin Riviere and Nasezire Horton, both 21 years old, are facing charges. The police suspect that a stray gunshot struck Isaack and that the two other teenagers who were injured were the intended targets.

Police arrested Riviere and Horton later that week at a residence on Edmonds Street that was being utilized as a gatehouse for the sale of marijuana and cocaine. Additionally, they are both being charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to investigators, Horton was released on parole for assault in March, and Riviere is on parole for burglary. Both individuals have prior convictions for weapons possession.

In July, parole officers apprehended Horton for allegedly operating a stolen motorcycle. An allegation of parole violation was brought against him, and he was subsequently released from custody.
